The Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Taragarh Fort, Adhai Din Ka Jhonpda, Akbari Fort & Museum, Maqbara Shaikh Husain, Anasagar Lake, Nasiyan Jain Temple, Nareli Jain Temple, Rangji Temple, Buland Darwaza, Prithviraj Smarak Monument etc are counted to be the most famous sightseeing spots in Ajmer expressing the valuable Memories.

Anna Sagar Lake | Ajmer


Anasagar lake and Ajmer city were built by Arunoraja or Anaji Chauhan, the father of Prithviraj Chauhan in the middle of twelfth century (1135-1150 AD). It is believed that the name of this lake is known as Aana Sagar or Aana Sagar due to it being built by Anaji.




Adhai din ka jhopra 


The adhai din ka jhopra  is a mosque located in Ajmer Nagar, Rajasthan. It is believed that it was constructed in only eighty-one days and hence its name was read as half-day.
It was built in the year 1192 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the governor of Mohammad Ghori, on the orders of Mohammad Ghori, which was converted from the present Sanskrit school.
Earlier it was old sanskrit school . The proof of this is a marble inscription on the left side of the main door of the Adhai din ka jhopra on which this school is mentioned in Sanskrit.





Brahma temple | Ajmer


The Bhrahma temple is one of very few existing temples dedicated to the Hindu creator-god Brahma in India and remains the most prominent among them. 







Pushkar lake | Ajmer

Brahma is believed to have built the lake by combining the waters of other Hindu holy sites such as Badrinath, Jagannath, Rameshwaram and Dwarka. There is a chhatri in the centre of the lake, which was built in the 18th century.






Prithavi raj smarak Monument


The Prithviraj Smarak is a memorial to Prithviraj Chauhan, the great hero of the Rajput Chauhan dynasty. Located on the Taragarh Road in Ajmer, the memorial has a statue of the king in black stone, mounted on a horse. Prithviraj Chauhan has been shown with a bow and arrow in his hand.

Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Ajmer Dargah, Ajmer Sharif or Dargah Sharif is a sufi shrine of the revered sufi saint, Moinuddin Chishti, located at Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. The shrine has Chisti's grave.
